Vanessa Collier is an internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (saxophone and guitar) whose music blends blues, soul, funk and jazz. Vanessa first picked up the saxophone at the age of nine, and is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music with dual degrees in Performance and Music Production & Engineering. She has released six critically acclaimed albums, including last year’s Do It My Own Way.
Vanessa has been nominated for thirteen Blues Music Awards since and has won five – four for “Horn Player of the Year” and one for prestigious “Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year”. She is actively involved with sharing her musical vision with young people as she runs clinics across the country and is active with the Blues in the Schools program.
Vanessa tours extensively nationally and internationally, performing at some of the most prestigious music festivals and venues in the world. The energy and passion she brings to the stage make her live performances a must-see experience.
